There are currently four airports in Mexico that offer direct flights to Puerto Escondido International Airport:

Drive to Puerto Escondido

Many visitors to begin their trips to Oaxaca by flying into Oaxaca City and renting a car at Oaxaca International Airport (OAX).
After a few days of enjoying all the food, culture and sights to be seen in and around Oaxaca City, their next stop is to the coast of Oaxaca starting with Puerto Escondido and on to other popular beachside destinations such as Mazunte, Zipolite, San Agustinillo, Huatulco and more.

Bus to Puerto Escondido
To / From Mexico City:
ADO, Alta Mar and OCC bus lines operate direct routes between Mexico City and Puerto Escondido on a daily basis from Central de Autobuses del Norte, Terminal Central del Sur, Terminal de Autobuses de Pasajeros de Oriente (TAPO).
Travel time: 11 to 13 hours
To / From Oaxaca City:
ADO, ADO gl and OCC bus lines operate direct routes between Oaxaca City and Puerto Escondido on a daily basis from Central de Autobuses ADO.
Travel time: 3 hours
To / From Huatulco:
ADO operates direct buses from Huatulco to Puerto Escondido via the ADO Bahias de Huatulco bus station located in La Crucecita, Huatulco.
Travel time: 2 hours 30 minutes
