Puerto Escondido Weather in March, April and May
During the months of March, April and May weather slowly starts shifting towards the rainy season. Occasionally you will be surprised by an afternoon rainfall.

Puerto Escondido Weather in June, July, August and September
The months of June, July, August and September are known as the rainy season in Puerto Escondido.
Although referred to as the rainy season, it doesn’t necessarily mean that it’s always rainy and cold during these months – believe it or not, this is actually the hottest time to visit Puerto Escondido.
The mountains are lush and green, and you can spot lots of different colorful flowers around town.
The months with the most rainfall in Puerto Escondido are June, July, August and September.
September is the absolute wettest and most humid month of the year with humidity rising above 70%.
There are two different types of storms that brew during these months in Puerto Escondido; the storms that come from behind the mountains and the storms that build above the ocean.
Clouds that start building up behind the mountains in the afternoons bring heavy rains to Puerto ranging from 10 minutes to a few hours or more while the storms that start in the ocean can sometimes bring rain for three days or more.

While the weather In October and November is generally fresh, there are still chances of occasional rainfall and thunderstorms.
